EVGA has always been a great upgrade card because they manufacture quality items at very good prices. This card is no exception. The installation is easy only taking up 1 PCIe x16 slot. There is small fan just over the processor. The memory is only DDR2 which is ample for most games. The really nice part is that this card allows older machines to catch up to Direct X 10. I tried it with Vista 64 and it installed just fine. I also tried it with Vista 32 and had no issues.

I am using them as surround sound speakers, and the quality is excellent. I consider myself an audiophile, and am quite happy with these. Bonus for me: the grills attach magnetically, so no need to have to pry off the grills!

Pros:
- Docking station is a MUST. 5 seconds on the dock and it's ready to go. Ingenious.
- This particular model has a red light that is powered when you rotate the ball. Looks like you're holding a fireball when you use it. Some don't have a light, despite appearance. The light definitely adds entertainment and motivation.
- Great workout experience not only for your forearm, but also for your entire arm. The fact that it improves range of motion and wrist health is a huge plus.

Cons:

I recenty got a inexpensive 19" HDTV which has decent enough video quality but it burdened with the WORST sound I've heard on a TV. Tinny sounding speakers with little volume. But there was a headphone jack on the TV. With headphones, the TV sounded excellent. My computer speakers were connected with a headphone jack... They worked just fine on the TV. I looked for powered 2.1 computer speaker systems on Amazon and was delighted to find many choices under $40. The best value for the money seemed to be this Logitech and the cheap TV now has excellent sound.

I recently upgraded my old Dell computer to Vista and needed to add a wireless card to it as it was going to be moved away from the main router. This card seemed to have good reviews although I wasn't sure if it worked with Vista. But installation was fast and easy, the card was recognized and I was connected to my wifi router in no time at all. I liked that this had a little antennae that you could move up to the top of your desk to get a better signal, but the cord on it is pretty short and really only long enough for it to sit on top of the tower case. Which seems to work fine for me, I have a good strong steady signal and have had no problems at all with this card dropping connections, etc. Now if I could just get Vista to behave when it comes to networking, I'd be all set!

I bought this as I often give presentations to small groups and wanted a "portable TV" when traveling. The Samsung is much brighter, has sound, and can be bought from Amazon with its better customer service than Dell.
I used it to watch an entire movie with a group and they loved it. We projected it onto just the plain wall and the brightness was just fine with a lamp light turned on nearby. You won't be able to use it during broad daylight for a movie. The thing I love about it is that it's on full brightness all the time!
It's so refreshing to have a projector where you don't have to worry at all about conserving the bulb. It's a HUGE stress reliever. The LG provides a very clear picture for unscaled DVD movies and over the air digital signals. The speakers provide excellent sound for a small living room although the addition of a home theater system would substantially increase movie enjoyment. Standard definition signals also produces a stable clear picture. Colors are very good and the set provides sufficient tools to tweak the picture for personal preference.

This camera has been a very pleasant surprise for me. The low light capability is extraordinary and as for framing pictures in bright sunlight I am very glad I got the optional optical viewfinder that fits in the hotshoe. But the picture sharpness and color quality are breathtaking. There is a learning curve on the menus but once you get used to it there are many in-camera scene types to fool with, such as old-fashioned grainy black and white. Most importantly, it is ultra-portable and unobtrusive in a good-looking way. I am thrilled with it!

1. When I read the specs on it, I was in awe. 10 megapixel, 12X OPTICAL zoom. Here's the sweetest part about the zoom- if you planning to use smaller prints (i.e. 4X6), you can quickly adjust the camera's Megapixel (MP) count from 10 to 7, 5, and 3 to yield maximum OPTICAL zooms of 14.3, 17.1, and 21.4 respectably, without much loss of detail on such prints. I wish Panasonic would have allowed the camera to adjust the MP count automatically as you zoom, but it's not too much trouble to change the MP settings manually from the quick menu.
Another great feature: the camera's screen is beautiful at 460,000 pixels, twice the count as the rival Canon Powershot SX200 IS (more on that camera later). From the moment you view your first picture, you'll quickly notice how much sharper photos look on this camera. It's a nice convenience to view photos on the camera in a manner closer to the quality that will actually be seen when you're viewing them on the computer (and ultimately printing them).

2. I have a pro friend who got a review copy of this for a couple of days. He let me use it for one of them, as he hasn't shot with a point and shoot in a long time. I ordered my own within the first hour. What a camera. The zoom on this baby is amazing. It has a true wide angle and a long reach. Photos on both ends of the reach are sharp and have good color and saturation. I almost drooled when I printed out the samples. They are flat out the best point and shoot jpegs that I've had the pleasure of taking. Raw files would be nice but aren't available, nor is much in the way of manual exposure control. As a bit of a control freak, I thought that would be a problem but honestly, Panasonic's smart mode selection is brilliant at getting good, sharp exposures. Focusing is fast, even in low light. Flash seems fine, neither superior nor awful. I took 400 images and a short movie on my first outing and the battery still had some juice. It also has fast and accurate face detection. Holding the camera in my hand, pointing it in the general direction of people on the street without being obvious got consistently good focus. Oh, the image stabilization works very well, too.

1. Canon has several sub-series within the compact Elph line, varying mostly by asthetics and optics. The SD1200 is successor to the series that included the SD1100, SD1000, and SD600. These all favor a classic, slim design. If you're unfamiliar with Canon's Powershot cameras, there's lots of good material out there on camera sites such as dpreview.
In general, the small sensors and optics in all ultra-compact digital cameras lead to some optical quirks (such as barrelling), chromatic aberrations, over/under-exposure in bright sunlight/shade, and underpowered flashes. That's intrinsic to the size of camera, and vendors try to correct these effects in their on-board processing. My opinion is that Canon does a good job of correcting for these issues and the Elphs including the SD1200 take very good photos for their size.

2. The SD1200 is much faster from the time you turn it on until it is ready to shoot as compared to the SD110. Next, the screen is far better than the one on the SD110. Very bright and readable even in sunlight. The camera itself is smaller than the SD110 as you might expect but does feel a little cheaper. So far I have taken the SD1200 to three main events. A birthday party, K-4 graduation, backyard play time. The birthday part pictures did not turn out well in automatic mode. We were indoors (Pump-it-up) and the lighting was probably not the best. The images were blurry for the most part. I had the same issue at the second event (K-4 graduation) but this time I switched to manual mode and used the "indoor" setting. This greatly improved the picture. Finally, the outdoor shots turned out looking wonderful in automatic mode.

1. The Best Shot Selector is a unique feature that I like. It's just another one of those very beginner-friendly features of this camera that will allow you to take great shots without having to do a lot. The Sports continuous-shooting mode (shooting 13 frames per second) also works well for action shots. But I found that out of the box in the "Easy-Auto" Mode, this camera takes focused, sharp, professional-looking pictures. As I started to play around with other features, I became even more impressed with the quality of the pictures in a variety of lighting, distance, and movement situations. The High ISO mode captures movement VERY well! I first tested it by waving my arm in the mirror as fast as I could and taking pictures, and the camera captured perfectly focused and crisp pictures of me.

2. I primarily purchased this camera because I love my smaller Nikon Coolpix 7600 but wanted something with more zoom. I've only had this camera for about a week, but its great so far!
I do see the "focusing problem" someone was talking about, but its not really a problem...Its just that you can't zoom in too closely on something if you are standing close to it - I think this is because of the lens type - its for long distances. But if you choose the macro setting specifically for close-ups, this can also be avoided.
When I first got the camera and took it out of the box, I immediately started taking pictures and they weren't coming out so good, but this was because I didn't know how to make the flash work - you have to raise it by hand - a quick check of the manual revealed this, but I was too anxious in the beginning to stop and read the manual. ;-)

1. First, I REALLY like the generous 12x zoom with this camera, which enabled me to get excellent quality photos with good detail of two particular wary birds, a Bob White quail, and an Eastern Bluebird.
I also found the imagine stabilization feature useful for my less than completely still hands, and I need to reiterate that image stabilization has NOTHING to do with capturing a fast moving object. Likewise, I quite liked the intelligent face detection feature, which seemed to be particularly useful for the excellent automatic red eye removal feature.

2. I have been a serious amateur photographer for more than 20 years and have a large collection of cameras for my photography needs. I recently purchased my S1500 while traveling in Asia over the past couple of weeks. I decided to leave my DSLR behind on this trip and had only packed my point-and-shoot. 1. Yes I sold all my DSLR equipment after I bought this camera. It's that good for what I needed. The only negative worth talking about is some minimal purple fringe at extra high contrast type scenes.
I was concerned about focusing accuracy and in low light. The camera excels at both. It has dedicated ISO and EV buttons which are a must. The fast lens is sharp even wide open but sharpens up even more at around f/4-4.5. The new 2/3" sensor handles the 11 megapixels with the associated noise just great. The manual zooming lens is so quick. Just like a DSLR. With all the bells and whistles, extra external buttons and dials it's truly designed like a much more expensive DSLR. The continuous focus and optical stabilazation are simply amazing. Of course with a EV you don't get the speed of a DSLR tracking but I don't need that particular feature.
The highly taughted dynamic range increase is good for a least one additonal stop and possibly two in jpg. Of course in RAW one can process however many they need through HDR.

2. I have had the Fuji S100fs camera for almost a month now, and have quite a bit to say about it's performance. First, I am very impressed with the image quality in general and the low noise images produced by this camera. Pictures up to 400 ISO are almost noise free, while 800's show very little noise and still show great detail. 1600's are not too bad either, but you probably would not want to print too big, as there is some noise there - however, compared to pretty much every other point and shoot out there, noise levels are quite satisfactory. I was able to get some great shots at my daughters' dance recital last week. Using 800 ISO for the slower ballet & pointe, and 1600 for the faster action, like clogging & hip-hop, I captured some very nice images with little or no motion blur. A few were out of focus: I noticed that when tracking moving objects the focus had a little trouble locking on some of the time. Overall, pretty pleased though.
