Customer feedback:
1. The fitness trainer at my gym brings in bags of these bands for her classes. Once I used the other bands that are available at the gym, I understood why. The SPRI bands are long and have enough stretch that you can use them for a variety of exercises: tricep extensions, lateral raises, and so on. The other bands were shorter and stiffer, which really limited the kinds of maneuvers you could use them for: the moves were just too hard to do.
In our class, we used yellow, green, and red bands. Most of us started with the yellow and green bands and over the course of the class were able to move up one band in resistance. If you are just starting a strength training program, the yellow and green bands would be good to have, especially if you are a woman. If you're a man, you might try starting with green and working up to red. If you're a gym rat and lifting lots of weight already, you should start with more resistance.
2. If you are using a band in any workout this one is a good one. Very reasonably priced and well made. Make sure you pick the right resistance that you need, I am using the extra light right now as I have just started using these.
